Coffee in the United States is served by three kinds of places: national chains with drive-thrus and mobile ordering, independent neighborhood cafes that double as a workspace or a meeting spot, and specialty shops that roast their own beans or buy single-origin lots and brew them by pour-over, espresso or cold brew. Most open between 6 and 7 a.m. on weekdays, slightly later on weekends, and the busiest hour is the commute rush before 9. A drip coffee runs a few dollars, espresso drinks and specialty pours more, and tipping a dollar or a percentage on the card reader is customary but not required. Nearly every cafe offers free Wi-Fi, though some limit laptop seating at peak times or on weekends, and outlets are often the scarce resource.

Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 7 am–5 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (412) 453-6339. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. Its website is convivecoffee.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

Pittsburgh is in Pennsylvania, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Traffic in Pittsburgh peaks on weekday mornings and afternoons, so allow extra time then. Addresses read from the street number up to the city, state abbreviation and five-digit ZIP code; the map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Bad coffee, bad ambience, bad attitude. You’re way better off going to Commonplace coffee where the service is good and they actually know what they’re doing with coffee. I don’t know how these guys are selling beans when they don’t seem familiar with coffee drinks people use to taste the beans like Pour Over. This place tries to be a local, non-chain coffee shop but the quality of the coffee feels more like Starbucks. But at least Starbucks has different flavors and expansive menu, this place doesn’t have that either. So it doesn’t appeal to your typical coffee consumer not does it work for a coffee lover. The nitro cold brew had no nitro in it? It was just cold brew. The cappuccino was undrinkable unless you drowned it in sugar, and I typically drink it without sugar. Forget about parking, pretty sure the only reason this place gets business is because it’s next to the arena.

Great coffee and pastries. The music playlist was immaculate. If you’re down by the ballpark, this is your place.

Mia & Catherine are exceptional. The hibiscus tea with lavender is one of the best drinks I’ve ever had at a coffee house. Amazing vibe and excellent employees 10/5 stars if I could πŸ˜€

Cute, clean, and just the right amount of quirky, this is a nice place for a pit stop and a cool caffeinated drink on a warm day. The match’s over ice with a honey and lander syrup shot was correctly mixed, friendly staff and a nice variety of drink choices. The tomato and spinach scone tasted of neither, but was recently baked and edible; definitely needed more spinach and more tomato; some feta and olive oil in the dough (or on top) would not be remiss, either, to take it to the next level and really stand out. Good music, relaxing atmosphere (major points for playing The Strokes), with a few GF options and some healthier frozen snacks available. A nice pit stop just off the river walk; I’ll be back.

I really enjoy Convive's spring drink menu. I think it's lovely with the roses, lavender, strawberry flavors. I decided to try the iced decaf strawberry and white chocolate mocha and two macaroons a chocolate and raspberry cheesecake one. I enjoyed everything. The strawberry flavor was prevalent in the latte and I would recommend. I really liked all the merch items and found their book selections for creatives entertaining to look at while waiting for my drink. It was pretty busy because it was a pirates home game and they are located across from the stadium. So the streets were packed. I honestly found all the ppl overwhelming, but was surprised at how quickly i was able to order and receive my drink. Baristas were really nice. Very nice location to stop by if you want to walk the along the north shore. Not alot of seating inside, but i planed to sit outside along north shore. I think the hibiscus watermelon tea sounds really good and hope to try it if I get a chance to stop by.
